Advanced Alkyd technology with oil linking to water pigmented with durable light-fast pigments.When compared to acrylic products, Monamel is smoother and more washable.
Intended Uses
An Interior / Exterior architectural gloss enamel finish for properly prepared plaster, concrete, masonry, drywall, wood, metal and steel. Widely used for application on walls, ceilings, cupboards, doors and trim.
Applications Directions
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry & free from dust, grease, mildew & wax. Remove any loose & peeling paint and repair with patching compound. New Wood or Drywall: Seal bare surface with appropriate Latex, Hybrid or Alkyd primer for better uniformity. Previously Painted Areas: Glossy surfaces should be sanded to a dull finish or prime with an appropriate primer to provide good adhesion.
Spreading Rate (Gal): 31-41 m²/3.7L (330-440 ft²/3.7L)
Drying Time: Tack Free: 4-6 Hrs, Recoat: 12-24 Hrs

Application / Dilution: Ready to use / Up to 5% water if spraying
Clean-up: Water (Final rinse with Mineral Spirits)
